  • True North: Following the Map Jesus Gave Us

True North: Following the Map Jesus Gave Us

Day 1 – The Map Before the March

When Jesus opened His mouth on that hillside, He didn’t begin with commands. He began with orientation.

In The Chosen, Jesus tells His disciples He will start by giving the people a map – and that’s exactly what the Beatitudes are. Before He tells us how to live, He shows us how to aim.

Every one of us is already following a compass. The question is whether it’s calibrated to comfort, success, fear, or approval – or whether it’s set to True North.

Jesus defines True North not by what we achieve, but by who we become in the Kingdom of Heaven.

    Reflection:

What has been setting your direction lately?

    Prayer:

Jesus, before I move another step, align my heart to You. Reset my compass.

  • Recalibrating Your Compass

    Recalibrating Your Compass

A compass doesn’t panic when the earth’s magnetic field shifts. It simply recalibrates and points back to true north.

In business and in life, we need the same discipline. Circumstances change. Markets shift. Habits slip. If we keep marching forward without stopping to realign, we risk walking confidently in the wrong direction.

True success comes from consistently pausing, asking, “What is my true north right now?” and then resetting our actions, routines, and mindset to match it.

It’s not about never drifting. It’s about noticing when we have—and having the courage to recalibrate.

👉 What’s one area in your life or business that needs a reset?

    Pause to Reset
    • Step back and ask: What is my true north?
    • This may be a core value, a business priority, or a personal discipline.

    Re-Align Your Actions
    • Identify 1–3 daily or weekly habits that bring you back on course.
    • Example: recommitting to lead generation in business, or to a morning routine in life.

    Build in Regular Check-Ins
    • Just as a compass continually points north, success requires ongoing recalibration.
    • Use weekly reviews, coaching sessions, or accountability partners to ensure you’re aligned.

    Embrace the Process
    • Drifting is normal. The power lies in the discipline of resetting.
    • Teach your team or clients that success is built on continuous alignment, not perfection.
